Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our wood products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the quality and value of our wood products.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure successful deals.
  • Territory Management: Manage a designated sales territory, ensuring efficient coverage and maximizing sales potential.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our production and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in outside sales, Minimum of 1 year experience within the wood manufacturing or related wood industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with wood products, finishes, and applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Valid Drivers License: Required for travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation:
