We are seeking a highly-driven Sales Professional to join our team! We are a family-owned Foodservice Distributor looking for a motivated salesperson that is hungry and eager to succeed. Leads will be provided, and the representative will cover the Tampa Bay area scouting new business and maintaining current customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Work M-F primarily between between 8:00am and 5:00pm. 
• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect, contact, and follow up with potential customers
• Respond and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
• Develop strong relationships while providing excellent customer service to accounts
• Follow up with current customers weekly to gather orders and upsell new inventory
• Keep customers updated on new items and special promotions
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Become familiar with product offerings to present to customers
• Have working knowledge of Tampa Bay area
• Attend weekly staff meetings at office in Plant City
• Assist in developing routing for customer calls and product deliveries
• Communicate with office staff to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields (3 years) (Food Service experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals
• High degree of self-management
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Ability to build strong rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• High school degree, college a plus

Experience:

• Business to Business Sales: 3 years (Required)
• Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
• Food Service Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
