Under direction of the Branch Manager, the Overnight Operations Manager is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals through effective time management strategies that align with the goals of our sales, order fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory teams.### Responsibilities* Optimize sales based on effective product replenishment throughout the branch location* Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing inventory replenishment tasks* Maintain promotional displays throughout store that highlight promotional items in an effective manner* Support order fulfillment methods of location by managing order pulling as needed throughout shift* Communicate effectively with other department managers to ensure needs of customers are met in a timely and ongoing basis* Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager to support the safety and maintenance of the building and equipment* Manage employee relation issues as needed* Support the development and training needs of the overnight team related to operational goals and position requirements* Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals* Manage building safety by holding keys to the building and using alarm codes as outlined in company policy* Maintain the overall cleanliness of the storePhysical Requirements* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.* Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.### Experience* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management with a specific focus on merchandising management* Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience### EducationThis role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.Desired Traits & Skills* Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems and project management tools* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence* Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectationsWorking EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
