We are seeking a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Part‑Time Marketing Assistant & Social Media Content Creator. This role will focus on creating engaging content for our social media platforms, including photography and videography, to enhance our brand presence and drive audience engagement. Position is part‑time (10–29 hours per week) with flexibility based on content needs. Remote and on‑site work as required for content creation. Responsibilities Develop, plan, and execute social media content strategies across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Create high‑quality photography and videography content to showcase parks and recreation programs, services, events, and community culture. Edit photos and videos for social media, ensuring alignment with brand identity and current trends. Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools. Monitor engagement for Marketing Manager to respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and content strategies to keep the brand innovative and competitive. Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall brand strategy and campaigns. Assist in influencer outreach and partnership development. Track and report on social media analytics and performance metrics to refine content strategies. Education and Experience High School Graduate preferably enrolled in minimum University level studies. Licenses and Certifications None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven experience in social media content creation, photography, and videography. Proficiency in content editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar software. Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Experience in marketing, digital media, or a related field is a plus. Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the minimum level of qualifications stated above.
