A growing company specializing in the manufacturing and development of high-performance adhesives, sealants, and coatings is seeking Packagers to join its dynamic team in Norton Shores, MI. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity in a clean and comfortable facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Packager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Product Preparation: Follow customer-specific batch and work orders to produce adhesives, sealants, and coatings.
- Packaging & Accuracy: Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and assigned to the correct orders.
- Filling & Handling: Assist with filling tubes, containers, and drums with finished products.
- Shipping Prep: Pack and prepare products for shipment according to work instructions.
- Workstation Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
You’ll work as part of a team to prepare and sort specific batches of products for shipment while meeting quality and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively
- Strong math skills (measurements, decimals, fractions, and conversions)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
