The Packager is responsible for all aspects of preparing raw materials for production processing and/or helping package finished goods to be put away into the finished goods inventory. This person must be able to multitask, provide quick responses/solutions to unforeseen production problems, and must always exhibit a professional, efficient demeanor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Remove raw materials from packaging to gondolas and complies with USDA standards for handling materials.
  • Fill / label / seal / palletize cartons of finished product.
  • Uses TI station to label product appropriately and to complete any necessary inventory transactions and adjustments.

Education

High School education or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

  • Minimal High School or GED
  • 1-year experience in a Food Processing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of GMP’s; HACCP Certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience with Meat Processing
  • USDA Trained
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
