Packaging Designer

On-site | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Overview:

We are seeking a Packaging Designer to play a key role in developing innovative packaging and display solutions that both protect and showcase products. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and customers to bring concepts to life, from initial design through production.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop packaging solutions using CAD software
  • Create and revise detailed production and assembly drawings
  • Apply knowledge of materials, machinery, and design principles to support production
  • Maintain and organize design files and documentation
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Manufacturing on new and updated designs
  • Track and document design changes within internal systems
  • Support short-run production needs
  • Meet with internal teams and external clients to review concepts and project feasibility


What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering accurate, high-quality designs that meet production requirements
  • Effectively collaborating across teams to move projects forward
  • Maintaining organized systems and documentation
  • Contributing to a responsive, solutions-oriented environment


What Were Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in corrugated packaging design or a related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools
  • Understanding of packaging, production processes, and product design


Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills across teams and with clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
