Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions for new and existing products. Conduct packaging material selection, testing, and validation to ensure product protection and compliance. Drive cost reduction initiatives through material optimization, process improvements, and standardization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) on packaging requirements and implementation. Manage packaging supplier relationships, including sourcing, qualification, and performance monitoring. Ensure all packaging designs meet regulatory, safety, quality, and sustainability standards. Troubleshoot packaging-related issues on the production line and in the field. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in packaging development, design, or engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in packaging materials (e.g., plastics, paperboard, glass) and industry testing standards (e.g., ISTA). Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for packaging design and specification. Demonstrated ability to manage packaging projects from concept through production launch.
