Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in packaging engineering? We are collaborating with leading companies in Whitehall seeking experienced Packaging Engineers to drive results. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Packaging Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and qualify new packaging solutions for manufacturing products. Conduct packaging material testing and performance validation. Identify and implement cost reduction and optimization opportunities for packaging. Collaborate with suppliers to source and evaluate packaging components and systems. Ensure packaging compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements. Provide technical support and troubleshoot packaging-related issues on the production line. Drive sustainable packaging initiatives and material selection. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in packaging development and engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and knowledge of various packaging materials (e.g., plastics, corrugated, flexibles). Familiarity with packaging testing standards (e.g., ISTA, ASTM) and manufacturing processes. Demonstrated ability to optimize packaging for cost-efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Bonus Qualifications Experience with sustainable packaging design and materials. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) for packaging design. Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies. ISTA certification or deep knowledge of package performance testing standards.
