Job Types: Full-time & Part-time
Schedule:
  • 10-hour shift

  • 8-hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends as needed

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and related medical fields, providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment plans that enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with pain-related conditions.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in neurology, pathology, and trauma medicine, to provide holistic patient care.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

  • Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Participate in infection control measures to ensure a safe treatment environment.

Experience:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification in Pain Management or related specialty is preferred.

  • Experience in senior care settings or hospitals is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with various pain management techniques and therapies.

  • Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of pain management.

Qualifications:

  • Post-residency experience.

  • Family Medicine.

  • Medical License.

  • DEA License.

  • BC/BE Family Medicine or BC/BE Internal Medicine.
