Pay Information $26.78 per hour Job Purpose The Paint Pre-treatment & Wastewater Technical Associate is responsible for managing pre-treatment, wastewater treatment, and oven processes of paint line which providing painted parts for assembly line and service parts. Timely delivery of quality parts enables North Carolina Manufacturing Plant and other Honda factories to produce quality products for our customers. Key Accountabilities Daily start-up, Inspections and adjust manufacturing conditions of pre-treatment, wastewater treatment, oven, burn off oven. Quickly respond to adjustments when equipment trouble or quality problems occur in order to supply stable quality parts to the assembly line without delay. Schedule and perform coating removal of hanging jigs using burn-off oven in coordination with 3rd shift. Screen broken jigs and send them for repair. Titration test of pre-treatment and quality check of wastewater treatment. Completes daily check sheets for safety, equipment, and quality to ensure timely delivery of parts to assembly line, service department and the customer. Confirm pre-treatment, wastewater, oven, burn off oven areas are complying with safety standards of North Carolina Manufacturing Plant. Check chemical inventory and fill out inventory check sheet. Order chemical as needed. Minimum Experience Qualifications, Experience, and Skills 1+ years manufacturing related experience Other Job-Specific Skills Thorough understanding of manufacturing concepts Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Small group activity with other Technical Associates to achieve target Working Conditions Majority of time is in production environment 10 hours overtime per week is possible Occasional weekend work What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
