We are looking for a skilled Commercial/Industrial Painting Estimator to join our growing team in Hacienda Heights, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial and industrial painting projects, including labor, materials, production rates, and scheduling.
- Conduct detailed takeoffs, analyze blueprints, specifications, drawings, and scope documents.
- Apply expertise in surface preparation techniques, coating systems, finishes, and application methods.
- Assemble complete bid packages, proposals, and scope clarifications for clients.
- Participate in job walks and site visits to collect project data and verify conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and field teams to confirm project details and address questions.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable laws.
- Support process improvements and mentor junior team members when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years estimating commercial or industrial painting projects.
- At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify eligible).
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, painting takeoffs, surface prep, coating systems, labor & material pricing, and bid preparation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
