In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate all aspects of loan closings, including scheduling, document circulation, signature collection, and funding logistics
  • Communicate directly with lenders, borrowers, title companies, and opposing counsel to facilitate smooth and timely transactions
  • Order and review due diligence items such as UCC, tax lien, judgment, and litigation searches
  • Prepare and file UCC financing statements and manage other required post-closing filings
  • Review title commitments, surveys, and related real estate documentation, and assist in resolving title issues
  • Prepare detailed closing checklists and track satisfaction of all conditions precedent
  • Assemble and distribute electronic and/or hard-copy closing binders
  • Monitor and follow up on post-closing matters to ensure timely completion of outstanding items
  • Maintain organized transaction files in accordance with firm and client protocols

What You Bring

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in commercial lending and loan closings strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of loan documentation and closing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems, including document comparison software
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and other members of the transaction team
  • A proactive, client-service mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Why Work With Us?

  • Hybrid work environment offering flexibility
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture
  • Opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial lending and real estate transactions
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. These roles typically pay $95,000-$125,000 depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical (HMO/PPO), dental (HMO/PPO), vision, FSA/HSA options, Employee Assistance Program, wellness incentives, a strong 401(k) profit-sharing program, and generous time-off policies

If you’re a highly organized, detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys managing complex loan transactions and being an integral part of successful closings, we’d love to hear from you.
