Paralegal Family Law$65K to $70KWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our Family Law team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and domestic violence cases. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and correspondenceAssist with case management, including calendaring deadlines, maintaining case files, and tracking court datesConduct legal research; gather, analyze, and summarize information for attorney reviewPrepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists; assist attorneys during hearings, trials, and mediationsCommunicate professionally and timely with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnelManage document production and organize financial records, medical records, and other evidence related to family law mattersAssist in the preparation of child support and spousal support calculationsMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information at all timesQualifications:Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a family law paralegalParalegal certificate or degree required; bachelor’s degree preferredThorough knowledge of family law procedures, court rules, and filing requirementsProficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, ProLaw, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate, professional demeanor when working with clients in difficult or emotional circumstances
