Description
Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is in Corbin, Kentucky and is spread between McCreary County and Whitley County with the Cumberland River running through it. The big attraction here is the Cumberland Falls. It is also known as the Niagara of the South. Many visitors come to view the majestic falls and the magical Moonbow that is visible each month. This park is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and became part of the State system in 1931. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, then there are many other attractions here as well. Over 20 miles of hiking trails are accessible, there are kayak rentals, a swimming pool, and horseback riding too. Cumberland Falls can provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the beautiful outdoors whether you are staying at our Dupont Lodge, one of our campgrounds, one of our cabins or just enjoying a meal at our river view restaurant.

The Dupont Lodge at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is now seeking a full time Front Desk Attendant to join our Team Kentucky! Cumberland Falls is one of the true natural wonders of the Commonwealth and our staff members play a crucial role in helping our guests to create memorable experiences. Our Front Desk Attendant performs the duties of answering incoming calls and the greeting and registration of our guests at the Lodge and the Cottages.

- Welcoming / checking in our guests.
- Providing guests information about the Cumberland Falls and other attractions.
- Answering phone calls to the Resort
- Preparing daily Lodge reports for Management and Housekeeping
- Keeping the Lodge Lobby tidy and presentable
- Helping to maintain the cleanliness of the Lodge Living room.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
Work is performed indoors in a state park setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
