Part Time Accounting Consultant - hybrid in Anne Arundel County, MDAbout the Company and Part Time Accounting Consultant Role: Our repeat client is a well known manufacturing company, operating for over 70 years in Anne Arundel County Due to growth, they are looking to hire a Part Time Accounting Consultant to join their medium sized accounting team on a contractual basis Position is hybrid in Severn, MD. Job Responsibilities for the Part Time Accounting Consultant: Assist with catching up on close Perform GL account analysis Prepare financial statements Participate in weekly cash flow projections Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Streamline and implement processes, policies and procedures, and internal controls Prepare budgets, financial statements and P&L statements Ad hoc tasks, directly assisting the Controller Qualifications for the Part Time Accounting Consultant: 5+ years' senior level accounting experience required Extensive knowledge of GAAP Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus Proficient Excel skill required; ability to do pivot tables a huge plus! Experience using SAGE 300 a plus Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related a plus
