Part-time Bookkeeper Apply
Property management company serving Silicon Valley is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented, part-time bookkeeper to manage a wide variety of a duties, including:
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Inputting transactions such as bills, invoices, credits, credit memos, and payments received
- Paying vendors
- Completing forms for the Franchise Tax Board
- (No payroll its processed by a third-party vendor)
Were a small, rapidly growing, family-run business. Youll be working directly with the real estate broker-owner. Expect to work at least 15 hours a week, at our office in San Mateo. The schedule is flexible. Later, you can help refine accounting controls and procedures, and assist with special projects.
The most important qualification is a track record of successfully helping small businesses manage a variety of bookkeeping tasks. Our ideal candidate has:
- A degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a relevant field, but high school diploma or equivalent is fine for the right candidate.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Knowledgeable about bookkeeping principles
- Adept at reconciling bank accounts
- Proficient with Quickbooks Desktop Pro
- Comfortable learning new computer programs
- Fluent in English
- Excellent math and verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, systematic, and detailed oriented
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
