We are seeking a knowledgeable, reliable, and responsible Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team. Our ideal instructor has both teaching and real-world experience to help lead the next generation of cybersecurity specialists.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Prepare and deliver lecture and lab demonstrations.

· Facilitate class discussions to engage the students.

· Ensure student’s conceptual understanding of employability skills.

· Promote skills through demonstration and repetition.

· Demonstrate effective teaching skills and conduct tutorial sessions as needed.

· Assess student achievement and ensure accuracy of all student records.

· Conduct group training in our office (starting at two meetings per month).

· Monitor and respond to the student community board and emails regarding any questions or issues incurred.

Stay current with trends in vocational education and Information Technology through professional development.

Training courseware will be provided (e.g. CompTIA, Thinkific).

Note: This is a part-time 1099 opportunity. Expect 4-6 hours of paid work per month to start and build up from there based on building a successful working relationship (not to exceed 10 hours per month).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred not required).
• Active industry certifications (minimum one - e.g. Security+, CISSP, CEH).
• Relevant industry experience, as well as teaching experience.
• Prior military experience or experience working with the military (preferred not required).
• Local candidates only for in-person instruction in our Tampa office (Pearson VUE test center).
