Job Openings: Part-Time Financial Experience Advocate - Contact Center Announcement Date: February 24, 2026 Location of Position: Alpena, MI Salary: $17.63 to $32.64 (based on experience) Days: Monday through Friday Hours: 40 hours per week Duties: Role: Advises new and existing members with their financial needs, opens and closes various accounts, processes transactions, resolves account problems, and provides assistance and information regarding other products and services of the Credit Union through digital/electronic channels such as video, web chat, etc. Follow the credit union mission and member promise statements. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Assists members with opening and closing accounts, processes transactions, and addresses and resolves member problems, inquiries, or complaints. Refers problems to supervisor as needed, along with recommendations for resolution. Advise members on products and services that will meet their financial needs. Maintains accurate member account information and prepares required reports for management. Acts as liaison between members and various departments. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Performance Measurements: 1. Provide informed, prompt, and accurate service to all members and associates by greeting and waiting on members in a timely manner. 2. Open individual accounts, certificates of deposit, and other Credit Union products or services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures, ensuring all related forms and documents are completed and filed/scanned in a timely manner. 3. Carry out assigned duties and responsibilities with minimal errors according to established credit union standards. 4. Actively advise members on products and services to achieve or exceed 100% of all established individual, department and credit union strategic performance goals. 5. Resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, communicating the resolution to affected parties. 6. Ensure compliance with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations. 7. Maintain a professional work environment. Additional Desired Attributes: Knowledge and Skills: Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Other Skills Working knowledge of principles and processes for providing member and personal services. Actively looks for ways to help people. Communicates information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Working knowledge of related computer systems and applications. Misc Comments: Benefits for Part-Time Employees Includes: Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Paid Personal Time Paid Holidays (including your birthday) 401(k) -- AAACU puts in 7.25% of your gross wages AND will match 100% up to 4% of your contributions!
