Title: IT Support Technician – Manufacturing
Location: Medway, MA
Job Type: 6 month contract, possible extensions
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (W2)

About The Role
We are seeking an IT Manufacturing PC Specialist to support a large industrial manufacturing organization that relies on strong onsite technical operations to keep production running smoothly. In this role, you will provide hands-on support for end users, manage PC imaging and refresh projects, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate closely with a small onsite IT team as well as remote infrastructure and server teams.

In this role, you will provide daily technical support for hardware, software, printers, and basic network issues within a manufacturing environment. You will manage PC re-imaging, data migration, ticket resolution, and device asset management using various internal systems. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows operating systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

In this role, you will provide daily technical support for hardware, software, printers, and basic network issues within a manufacturing environment. You will manage PC re-imaging, data migration, ticket resolution, and device asset management using various internal systems. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows operating systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and basic network issues
- Image PCs to the designated load set and ensure proper setup and configuration
- Migrate user data to OneDrive and support users through the transition
- Utilize Tracktee for device acquisition and asset management
- Manage and resolve support tickets using Freshservice
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes and issues
- Collaborate with a small onsite IT team and coordinate with infrastructure/server teams as needed
- Support PC refresh activities
- Assist with basic networking and server support
- Provide JD Edwards ERP support, including password resets
- Troubleshoot printing issues, including labeling for manufacturing processes
Required
- 2+ years of IT support experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and 11
- Familiarity with PC imaging and deployment processes
- Experience with OneDrive for data migration and user support
- Strong troubleshooting skills across printers, common computer programs, and basic networking
- Experience using Freshservice or similar IT ticketing systems
- Ability to maintain clear documentation and follow established processes
- Ability to collaborate with onsite and remote IT teams in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting JD Edwards ERP (e.g., password resets)
- Experience with Tracktee or similar asset management tools
- Prior involvement in PC refresh initiatives
- Exposure to basic server support tasks
