Role: Part-Time IT Trainer

Job Responsibilities

  • Must have the ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering curriculum, both in-house and virtual to employees, such as PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, printed handouts and videos.

Required Skills

  • The instructor/trainer must be able to commit to a flexible monthly schedule to accommodate IT training schedule.
  • Must have effective interpersonal and presentation skills and be able to communicate instructions logically and clearly.

Education, Experience and Licensing

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or the equivalent of a minimum of three (3) years of government or public-sector experience as an instructor, trainer, or teacher may substitute for degree.
  • Experience delivering training programs including development and delivery on a wide variety of general technology applications used within the County.
  • Experience working with IT project teams for testing, documenting, and rolling out new technology training support documentation.
