PART-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE! We are HIRING a new team member. We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and positive person to be a PHYSICAL THERAPY TECHNICIAN. At Custom Rehab, a PT Technician works under the direction of our licensed Physical Therapists and assists in the therapy process by performing clerical duties, ordering supplies, updating patient records and answering phones. He or she may also keep the physical therapy areas cleaned and stocked, maintain equipment and bring patients to the therapy area.

Essential Functions

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Responsible for providing specific treatment only as directed by the staff physical therapist.
• Maintain adequate knowledge base regarding precautions for the patient undergoing physical medicine services and treatments
• Order, stock, and maintain accurate records of adaptive equipment
• Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly
• Interact professionally with patients/family and involves them in the formation of the plan of care
• Transport patients according to scheduled appointment time while maintaining compliance with safety policies during transport at all times
• Prepare and clean treatment area for patient use. Perform final cleaning at close of day
• Record treatment/service revisions in accordance with department policy
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situation
• Maintain a good working relationship with all staff

Professional Requirements

• Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices.
• Attend regular staff meetings and in-services.

License or Certification:

• CPR certification preferred

Education, Training and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
