Purpose of Job
The purpose of this job is to provide continuous oversight of an outdoor swimming pool facility ensuring a safe environment and performing lifesaving techniques in the event of an unforeseen situation.


Job Related Requirements
WORK SCHEDULE: Pools are open Tuesday-Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm.

May be required to work on religious holidays.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Must work cooperatively with others.

When requirements include vehicle operation, responsible for the safety, readiness and operation of the vehicle and must abide by ACC's safe driving policy.



If hired for a Summer position, you will be REQUIRED to attend Orientation.

Minimum Training & Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Must possess the minimum current lifesaving certification required by the American Red Cross, First Aid, CPR and lifesaving techniques before performing job duties.
Valid through the end of the summer season.

Must possess the minimum current lifesaving certification required by the American Red Cross, First Aid, CPR and lifesaving techniques, including Waterfront Skills Certification (Sandy Creek Day Camp can provide lakeside training in advance of start date.

Valid through the end of the summer season.


Ability to implement American Camping Association aquatic safety procedures for an accredited camp preferred.
