Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Parts Operation Specialist.

Position type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ

As a Parts Operation Specialist, you will be:

Maintaining all functions of the National Workshops Parts Department/Area (ordering parts, maintaining proper inventory, dispatch parts, deliver parts, ship parts to Warranties as requested).

Retrieving purchased parts from inventory or if the requested parts are not in inventory determines availability, prepare parts requisition, and submit order as required.

Stocking the incoming inventory in the correct location. Keeps accurate records of special-order parts.

Establishing individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.

Maintaining the parts department in clean and orderly manner.

Setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

Verify \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"will call\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"back-order\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" files weekly and return to vendors, or stock those items not required.

Receiving and shipping parts in accordance with company policies; hazmat and/or dangerous goods certifications.

Assisting service drive employees in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.

Ensuring all parts entering and exiting the Parts Department are accounted for and processed in accordance with company policies.

Maintaining inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock.

Ensuring that all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from Warranty Parts Returns.

Completing all documents, forms, and reports in accordance with company policy.

The ideal candidate will have:

High School or Equivalent; 2 - 3 years Parts department retail or warehouse inventory control experience.

Customer service skills.

General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.

Must be able to lift heavy packages (parts/tires).
