Job Description:

BOM & Data Analyst

·Efficiently retrieves internal and external data, ensuring accuracy and validity for analytics and reporting.

·Creates Power BI reports from retrieved data to present insights meaningfully to team members and stakeholders.

·Gathers team input on tool creation and enhancements.

Major Purpose:

·Develops BOM (Bills of Material) structures.

·Analyzes Part Data from engineering teams (Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering).

·Supports new product implementation and updates in a specific manufacturing unit.

·Entry-level role with work reviewed by senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

·Data Management & Reporting:

o Retrieve and validate internal & external data for analytics and reporting.

o Create Power BI reports to present meaningful insights.

o Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

·Business & Process Analysis:

o Identify, elicit, and document project/process requirements using appropriate modeling techniques.

o Conduct research & trend analysis using primary data sources.

o Support business requirement collection through interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis.

o Identify solution recommendations for business problems based on well-understood needs.

o Conduct feasibility and assessment studies to contribute to business case development and review.

·Product & Compliance Support:

o Assist in product development tasks such as data gathering and document preparation.

o Perform testing, compliance checks, and assessments with established standards.

o Extract and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats.

o Maintain technical and user documentation for compliance and backup purposes.

·Process Improvement & Collaboration:

o Develop a working knowledge of company policies, regulatory codes, and industry best practices.

o Participate in training, coaching, and development activities.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.

Required Skills:

·Intermediate Power BI skills (data visualization & reporting).

·Intermediate Excel skills (data analysis & manipulation).

·Excellent past programming experience (preferably in analytics/reporting).

·Business process support (proficiency in office software & tools).

·Data analysis & reporting (trend identification, decision-making).

·Problem-solving & critical thinking (adjusting approaches based on scenarios).

·Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

·Project management (planning, prioritization, and feasibility analysis).

Education Requirement:

·Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
