Parts Manager Apply
Job Description
Vogt RV | DFW / Texas
This is not a parts counter job.
This is a leadership role inside one of the most respected, fastest-moving, and most customer-obsessed RV dealership groups in the country.
Vogt RV is a private, family-owned dealership group with five distinct locations covering every major segment of the RV industry—from Airstream and luxury touring vans to adventure rigs, towables, diesel motorhomes, and a one-of-a-kind pre-owned Outlet Center. We don’t just sell RVs—we actively work to change how this industry treats customers.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by:
- Corporate red tape
- “Profit first, customer later” thinking
- Broken parts processes that slow service and burn goodwill
- Being asked to manage outcomes without real authority
…this role was built for you.
Why This Role Exists
Our VIP Express Service depends on speed, accuracy, and communication.
Parts is the heartbeat of that promise.
We are looking for a Parts Manager who sees parts not as inventory—but as a mission-critical service engine that supports:
- Service technicians and advisors (fast, accurate, transparent parts flow)
- Sales and customer parts/accessories (smart pricing, education, and growth)
This role has direct executive visibility, reports to our Fixed Operations Director (VP & Partner), and is considered a core leadership position inside the company.
What You’ll Own
Internal Service Priority (Non-Negotiable)
- Lead and develop the Parts Support Team
- Ensure fastest possible parts acquisition for service and VIP Express customers
- Maintain accuracy, backorder visibility, and real-time communication with service advisors
- Build strong vendor and manufacturer relationships
- Reduce cycle time, reorders, and service delays
Sales & Customer Parts Growth
- Competitive and accurate pricing
- Educated parts and accessory recommendations
- Growth of retail parts, accessories, and camping gear
- Help build (or expand) online parts & accessory sales
- Support Adventure-Ready upfits and specialty installs
Leadership & Culture
- Hire, train, and coach parts associates
- Build repeatable processes—not heroics
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reviews
- Forecast, plan, and improve continuously
- Lead with integrity, servant’s heart, and ownership
Who Thrives Here
This role is ideal for:
- A strong Parts Associate ready to grow into management
- OR a manager who wants real authority, real partnership, and real impact
It is not ideal for someone who:
- Needs heavy structure handed to them
- Blames vendors, techs, or systems for outcomes
- Is uncomfortable being measured—or rewarded—by results
- Wants to “hold the seat” instead of build something
Why Vogt RV Is Different
- Private & family-owned – decisions are made for customers and team members, not shareholders
- We invent solutions (VIP Express, Exchange Days, Adventure-Ready Prep)
- We invest heavily in parts availability, training, and systems
- We win national awards because we do the right thing, not instead of it
- We care deeply about culture, coaching, and growth
This role can grow into:
- Lead Parts Manager at our flagship service location
- Multi-store or group-wide Parts Leadership
If you want to build—not babysit—this is your seat.
Service Support Metrics

A strong performer should reach market-average total comp quickly, and exceed it meaningfully over time—with no ceiling.
Benefits & Intangibles (That Actually Matter)
- Direct access to ownership & executive leadership
- Clear growth path
- Monthly coaching & forecasting—not annual surprises
- Authority to fix problems, not just report them
- A company that actually does what it says for customers
