Our client is seeking a Parts Sales and Service Representative with heavy equipment/ power generator parts sales experience to join their team to cover the La Vergne, TN territory. This dynamic role involves working directly with their valued clients and ensuring high-quality customer service is delivered at all times. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for providing the best customer service possible.

1 Resource Group specializes in sourcing and placing skilled trades professionals, and this role will allow you to be a key player in the growth of our company.

This is a DIRECT HIRE position with great benefits and company perks offered. Company truck provided!

Responsibilities

  • Generates sales to customers for generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on all generator makes and models.
  • Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations.
  • Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
  • Attend and work industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
  • Create and implement strategies for generator service and rental growth.
  • Work closely with the clients sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
  • Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
  • Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the construction industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass a MVR (insurable of company vehicle insurance)
