Role Overview:
The Pastry Sous Chef plays a key role in assisting the Pastry Chef in all aspects of pastry production. They are responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. The Pastry Sous Chef also supervises the pastry team and ensures that all products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and executing pastry menus.
  2. Prepare and decorate a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.

  9. Stay updated on industry trends and new pastry techniques.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
