Job Title: Patent Attorney - Biotech or Molecular Biology

Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Pay range: According to experience starting from $160K plus benefits

QUALIFICATIONS

• All candidates preferably have a Ph.D. degree in biotechnology, cell or molecular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry or related field, and technical experience in biotechnology, molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
• Attorneys should have a JD from a top tier law-firm, and be admitted to one or more state bars and all candidates should be admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
• Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house drafting patent applications and assisting with drafting of opinions, as well as performing freedom-to-operate patent searches and literature searches.
• The position will work with partners and senior associates of the firm, specifically with regard to domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, researching and drafting legal opinions for clients, and assisting with patent office litigation matters.

MUST HAVE

• JD and be admitted to one or more state bars and all candidates should be admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office
