Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid‑to‑senior‑level Associate in Atlanta, GA, to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group on the Electrical Engineering and Software Team. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications. Engage in patent litigation activities. Collaborate with team members on complex legal matters. Conduct legal research and analysis. Requirements 4 to 7 years of IP experience in drafting and patent prosecution. Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field. Experience with AI/machine learning, software design, semiconductors, and medical devices is a plus. Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensing in the state of Georgia. Member of the USPTO. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Georgia or eligibility for admission. USPTO registration. Skills Excellent academic credentials. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
