Patient Access ManagerEmployment Type: Direct HireWorksite: 100% Onsite – Dickinson, ND 58601Salary Range: $72,000 – $108,000 (commensurate with experience)Relocation: Considered On-Call Rotation: Alternating with Team Lead (typically light call volume, rarely onsite)About the Opportunity:Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Patient Access Manager to join a reputable healthcare system in Dickinson, North Dakota. This leadership position will oversee the hospital’s front-end revenue cycle operations and a Patient Access team of approximately 18–20 representatives and one team lead. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, seasoned healthcare operations leader to drive efficiency and patient satisfaction in a close-knit hospital setting.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily Patient Access operations across ER, Radiology, Lab, Main Registration, and clinicsProvide strategic oversight for staffing, performance, budgets, and metricsDevelop and implement short- and long-term action plansMentor, grow, and engage staff including a newly hired Team LeadCommunicate regularly with senior leadership and escalate concerns when appropriateEnforce and refine departmental policies and proceduresEnsure adherence to service level agreements and regulatory guidelinesAct as facility’s primary Patient Access leader in collaboration with local leadershipTeam Structure:Direct Reports: 18–20 Patient Access Representatives (PA I–IV)Indirect Reports: 1 Team LeadReports to: Onsite DirectorRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred3–5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or hospital environmentStrong working knowledge of revenue cycle operations, patient registration, and insurance processesDemonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfort working in a critical access hospital settingFamiliarity with Meditech or similar patient access systems preferredAdditional Details:This is a full-time, onsite role with a clean, updated hospital environmentOn-call is minimal and shared with the Team LeadRelocation assistance may be available—please submit your specific needs or expectations for considerationTo Apply:Please contact Wheeler Staffing Partners or submit your resume for immediate review.
