Summary:
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full time Patient Access Representative. The Patient Access Representative assumes responsibility for the effective entry of patients into Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; coordinates and makes arrangements for all access-related activities including data gathering, triage, communication with referring physicians, scheduling visits and pre-visit diagnostic tests, admitting patients to the hospital, communicating with disease-site teams and provides insurance and financial clearance for new and return visits.

Salary range is $40,193 - $49,405 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in patient registration, patient scheduling, or insurance verification; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and successful completion of a Patient Access Representative traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have one year of scheduling patient appointments in a medical setting and customer service. The preferred candidate should have previous experience with medical terminology and insurance.
