This role supports efficient patient flow, verifies insurance coverage, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.Schedule:Monday - Friday8:30am 5pm.13 Week AssignmentPay:$20.00 - $22.00 DOEEssential Job Functions:Greeting patients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous mannerRegister patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and financial informationVerify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and referrals prior to servicesExplain registration forms, consent documents, and financial responsibility to patientsSchedule appointments and coordinate patient check-in and check-out processesCollect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances when applicableMaintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systemsEnsure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standardsCommunicate effectively with clinical staff, billing departments, and insurance providersResolve registration, billing, and insurance discrepancies as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentCerner Experience is a plusPrevious experience in healthcare registration, front desk, or customer service preferredKnowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and billing processes a plusStrong attention to detail and data entry accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environmentIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply ASAP.
