General Summary The Patient Access Supervisor possesses exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills and ensures the delivery of compassionate, personalized service to the patients and guests of Klickitat Valley Health. This role is responsible for the daily operations of the Patient Access Department in both the critical access hospital and rural health clinic settings. The Supervisor may also provide administrative support to these departments. The Supervisor ensures the timely and accurate registration of patients, manages personnel and staffing, monitors effective processes and reporting of departmental accuracy, troubleshoots issues and develops resolutions, and resolves patient complaints. May oversee prior authorizations and referrals for the department. The Supervisor fosters a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional development. The Supervisor demonstrates excellence in customer service and professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and other customers, and collaborates with departments throughout the organization to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.
