Founded in 2009, we are an innovative after-hours pediatric urgent care practice with offices in Richmond and Stafford.

By joining our team, YOU will play an important role in the care team that supports children.

The Position

The Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician will assist our medical providers in providing quality care to our pediatric patients. You will perform tasks that are instrumental to the success of KidMed; Documenting charts, taking patient vitals, ensuring that patients rooms remain clean and sterile, and obtaining lab samples (to name only a few of the duties).

Most importantly, you will ensure that our patients and that their caregivers are treated with respect and dignity.

Please apply only if you have the below education and experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • One year experience in pediatrics (preferred)
  • Emergency/Urgent Care experience (preferred)
  • Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program (preferred)

You will be tasked with upholding the KidMed mission, to commit to the care and improvement of the children we serve. We offer full benefits, 401k, and generous PTO.
