*Local rate $5 less* Days, 7a-7:30p, 3X12s, 36 hours, every other weekend, every other holiday. Option for candidates to work 48 hours per week with OT after 48 hours, if interested please let Kelsey know *Acute care experience required* BLS required, CNA preferredJob Functions: 1. Assists with patient transport and transfer within department and hospital.2. Administers Oxygen via nasal cannula, NRB, and BVM.3. Applies NIBP, ECG electrodes, pulse oximetry and end-tidal CO2 for central monitoring of patients.4. Assists with responding to patient call lights and/or family requests and refers appropriately.5. Assures the safety of the patient population served by demonstrating age-appropriate skills when assisting with nursing care activities as directed by licensed nursing personnel.6. Performs duties generally supportive to the activities of daily living for patients, which do not require nursing assessment skills during their performance.7. Performs unit related tasks as assigned by the Nurse Director, or designee.8. Attends appropriate inservice and educational programs commensurate with job responsibilities.9. Floats to various units, as requested.10. Accepts assignments and under the direction from the Charge RN, or designee.11. Immediately reports changes in patient condition to primary care RN.12. Completes assignments and demonstrates ability to adapt to changes in workload.13. Accurately obtains, documents and reports vital signs and rechecks as needed. Reports abnormal findings to primary RN or Charge RN.14. Accurately measures and documents intake and output as needed.15. Performs capillary blood glucose testing utilizing proper technique and equipment document results and reports abnormal results to RN.16. Performs ECGs.17. Maintains and supports patients rights to care, privacy and respect.18. Participates in unit/hospital projects that seek to improve patient care.19. Other duties as assigned from time to time.
