Every day, we take that experience, expertise and direction that comes with 50 years to be leaders who deliver even greater quality imaging, care, and service. We are seeking a Technologist Assistant to work at various healthcare facilities listed below. This position will be responsible for assisting the technologist in patient care. Routes are subject to change based on business needs. We pay the hourly rate door-to-door, reimburse mileage for all but 60 miles/trip, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and much more! Monday - Paterson, NJ Tuesday - Middletown, NY Wednesday - Suffern, NY Saturday - Paterson, NJ Essential Duties: Transports patients between the facility and scanner and completing documentation. Provides operational and administrative support to the technologist. Preparing, cleaning and sanitizing exam areas, changing table linens, patient verification, and helping with patient transfers from and to beds, wheelchairs, and carts. Managing patient exam records, ensures patient comfort, engage in ethical conduct, and make sure work adheres to regulatory requirements. Complying with safety and quality procedures and initiatives by strictly following safety policies, rules and safe work methods, making suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety, promptly correcting or reporting safety hazards or unsafe conditions, promptly reporting injuries for timely diagnoses and medical treatment, and by participating in safety processes such as safety committee, safety inspections, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school graduate or GED. Spanish language proficiency required. Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred; customer service experience desired. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational, accuracy and detail orientation skills. PC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing: CPR certified, DMS will assist with this process if not already certified. Mandatory education provided by DMS. To ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, the following vaccinations, titers, or declinations and health requirements are required: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella); Varicella (Chickenpox); Hepatitis B Series; Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis); annual Influenza vaccine; COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy; Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines). Physical Demands: Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl. Climb up and down stairs. Push and pull wheelchairs. Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Background Check: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws.
