Position Title: Patient Financial Specialist - Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Patient Financial Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. This role involves supporting key functions to ensure timely account resolution and reconciliation of outstanding balances for patient accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate a commitment to excellence, integrity, and compassionate service.

Location: Onsite in Irving, TX
Address: Irving, TX 75039

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Revenue Cycle functions to meet or exceed performance metrics.
  • Ensure departmental quality and productivity standards are consistently met.
  • Collect and process patient and payor information for account resolution.
  • Conduct research to ensure compliance with governmental regulations for claims submission.
  • Respond to account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic correspondence.
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance and self-pay billing, follow-up guidelines, and third-party payer regulations.
  • Stay updated on payor-specific processes and maintain expertise in Revenue Cycle functions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare, focusing on insurance billing, collections, payment processing, reimbursement verification, or refunds.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Preferred: Experience in a multi-facility hospital business office environment.
