Patient Service Representative Location: Appleton, WI Hours: M-F, 8am-4:30pm Description: As a Patient Service Representative, you will be tasked with the following job duties: Greet patients and families at the front desk Troubleshoot issues with patients coming in utilizing the new iPad system for check-in/screening Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, call on referrals Answer questions about appointments, insurance, and payments Assist with the smooth transfer of patients between departments Assist with administrative work such chart prepping, and and maintaining medical records Coordinate patient appointments and information flow between departments and outside organizations Additional Skills & Qualifications: Administrative background - Filing, scanning, data entry Technical abilities- Adobe, PDF, Outlook, Excel (plug data). Converting things from PDF to an Email** Working under a deadline without any monitoring Organization The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare industry Experience handling medical records, posting payments and insurance verification Strong interpersonal skills Proven record of building and maintaining relationships with customers and co-workers PLUS: ModMed (EMA system) Prior PSR experience Medical Field experience Medical Insurance (Trainable) Preparing records Pay: $16-17/hr About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
