Job TitleProvides clerical support and assistance to ensure that the business of the department is completed in the most effective, efficient, timely, accurate and customer friendly manner.Primary Position ResponsibilitiesGreets and checks in patients for scheduled appointments. Encounters patients in NextGen and bills accurately in Affinity. Prepares documents for upcoming intakes. Regularly reviews and updates insurance & demographic information required for billing. Scans paperwork into appropriate folders in Next Gen and Affinity. Provides telephone coverage on a daily basis.
