Patient Services Representative

Pay Rate-$18.50-$21.76 (Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience)

About the Role:

The Patient Services Representative, under the Office Manager’s direction, greets and registers patients, schedules appointments, and collects payments while providing supportive, responsive service to patients and visitors. Duties may vary depending on specific assignments within HICHC.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required-High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required-Six months to one year related experience and/or training is required

Responsibilities:

  • Greets new and returning patients and clients entering the health center and checks them in for scheduled and walk-in appointments.
  • Updates patient records to verify contact information.
  • Greets other visitors to the health center and directs them to the appropriate offices or individual staff.

Skills:

The position requires basic office skills, computer proficiency for data entry and report generation, multitasking, and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. The role also involves taking initiative to resolve patient concerns.
