Payment Innovation Director II

L ocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office).
Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of an Elevance Health location.

Are you ready to drive healthcare transformation? We're searching for an experienced and dynamic Payment Innovation Director II to join our value-base programs design team! You will be responsible for researching and collaborative development of innovative payment solutions for healthcare providers.

How you will make an impact:

  • Creates value-based payment program concepts, writes business case and requirements documents, and develops ROI analysis.
  • Partners with team members to infuse creativity and innovation into projects, contributing to the elevation of departmental standards and overall organizational success.
  • Performs complex market and competitive analysis in partnership with technical, clinical, and other cross functional teams.
  • Works with other business partners to develop strategic roadmaps, guide and support solution development, and pilot and solution launch activities.
  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
  • Leads special projects/initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires BA/BS in business or related field and a minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare systems, and 8 years of experience in a strategy role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • MBA, MPH, or MHA degree
  • Previous experience leading design and execution of value-based payment models in Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial lines of business strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $119,360 to $225,590.

Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ
