Description

Location: This is a hybrid role requiring working in the office 1-2 days per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or an hour commute to an Elevance Health Office.

The Payment Innovation Ops Director is responsible for supporting Network and Payment Innovation value-based program operations, including contract development and maintenance, process development and management, market support, communications, training, requirement development and user testing. Supports one or more operational components for one or multiple network and value based programs. Acts as a lead in organizing and directing operational work required to implement new programs or enhancements to existing programs.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as an operational subject matter expert on one or multiple operational areas. Performs operational vetting end to end to identify impacts for new programs as well as existing program changes.

  • Supports market contracting and resolves issues.

  • Develops and manages internal and external communications and associated legal and regulatory approvals.

  • Develops and manages contract material and schedule for value based program. Writes business requirements.

  • Works with other business partners to guide and support solution development, pilot and solution launch activities.

  • Develops and maintains process documentation.

  • Manages small and large scale program implementation efforts.

  • Works on special projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in business or related field and a minimum of 3 years health insurance industry experience; and 5 years program/project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA degree and PMP certification strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $113,316 to $194,256
