Summit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team in a fully remote, full-time role. In this vital position, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with all HR policies and regulations. You will play a crucial role in supporting our employees by processing payroll, administering benefits, and maintaining accurate employee records. Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire orientation and documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Coordinate performance review processes and employee recognition programs.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, including compliance audits and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration and HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
