About the Role:

A growing construction company is looking for a Payroll Administrator to support daily payroll operations for roughly 800 employees. This role is onsite 5 days a week.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit required payroll and certified payroll reports
  • Support union wage updates, reporting, and apprenticeship-related activities
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll, tax, and personal information
  • Handle payroll adjustments, employee status changes, and corrections
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll activities and reconciliations
  • Support retirement contributions and paid time off tracking
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing, filings, and audits



Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years payroll experience
  • Experience supporting complex payroll environments with compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of payroll taxes, reporting, and audit support
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under deadlines
  • Clear communicator who partners well across functions
