About the Role:
A growing construction company is looking for a Payroll Administrator to support daily payroll operations for roughly 800 employees. This role is onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required payroll and certified payroll reports
- Support union wage updates, reporting, and apprenticeship-related activities
- Maintain accurate employee payroll, tax, and personal information
- Handle payroll adjustments, employee status changes, and corrections
- Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll activities and reconciliations
- Support retirement contributions and paid time off tracking
- Provide backup support for payroll processing, filings, and audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience
- Experience supporting complex payroll environments with compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes, reporting, and audit support
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under deadlines
- Clear communicator who partners well across functions
