We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Battletown, Kentucky. This role involves processing payroll for multiple locations, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a strong ability to handle confidential information.
Responsibilities:
• Process union and non-union payrolls for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update employee records within the payroll system.
• Prepare and issue manual checks as necessary, along with generating detailed payroll reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit controls and corporate payroll policies.
• Reconcile taxes, deductions, and other payroll-related filings at local, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor employee leave, attendance, and vacation time to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Administer benefits enrollment, wellness programs, and assist with onboarding of new team members.
• Coordinate recruiting activities and support managers with administrative functions.
• Organize special events such as safety luncheons, holiday celebrations, and recognition programs.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to align payroll and HR processes with company goals.• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience managing payroll using computerized systems; UKG Pro experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with union payroll practices and multi-state payroll regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Experience in benefits administration, recruiting, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and provide excellent customer service.
