We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process weekly payroll operations efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Paylocity, a deep understanding of certified payroll reporting, and knowledge of onboarding procedures for new hires.
As a key member of our HR and Finance team, you will ensure compliance, timely payroll processing, and smooth integration of new employees into our systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process weekly payroll for all employees using Paylocity
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public projects as required.
- Handle new hire onboarding, including setup in payroll systems and benefits enrollment.
- Manage employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate and review regular payroll and labor cost reports.
- Work closely with HR and Accounting on related projects and audits.
- 2+ years of payroll experience (construction is a plus).
- Proficiency with Paylocity payroll software is required.
- Knowledge of certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage laws.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Experience onboarding new employees and maintaining HR documentation.
