Our client, a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturing organization, is seeking a highly capable Payroll / HR Administrator to play a central role in supporting payroll accuracy, employee records, and core HR operations. This is a stable, hands-on position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, offering long-term growth within a manufacturing organization that values integrity, accuracy, and operational discipline.
Unlike narrowly defined admin roles, this role gives you hands-on involvement across payroll, HR operations, compliance, and employee support while working closely with the Director of Human Resources.

Key Duties of the Payroll / HR Administrator:
Payroll Processing & Compliance
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Maintain payroll records and prepare required reports
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour regulations
- Generate and distribute W-2s and other tax documentation
Benefits & Employee Support
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for payroll, HR, and policy questions
- Provide guidance and training on HR and payroll systems
Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Support
- Coordinate onboarding paperwork and orientation processes
- Support offboarding activities and conduct exit interviews
- Assist with recruitment support, employee relations, and performance management
- Support HR policies, procedures, and corporate HR projects as needed
Auditing & Continuous Accuracy
- Conduct regular audits of payroll, benefits, and HR processes
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with precision and discretion
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent HR/payroll experience)
- 3+ years of payroll experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of HR experience or PHR / SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Strong working knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS systems
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- In-depth understanding of wage & hour compliance
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
