Do you enjoy owning critical processes, ensuring compliance, and being the go-to expert employees trust for payroll and HR support?

Our client, a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturing organization, is seeking a highly capable Payroll / HR Administrator to play a central role in supporting payroll accuracy, employee records, and core HR operations. This is a stable, hands-on position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, offering long-term growth within a manufacturing organization that values integrity, accuracy, and operational discipline.

  • Direct visibility and partnership with HR leadership
  • A role with real ownership over payroll and employee data integrity
  • Opportunity to expand HR exposure across compliance, benefits, and employee relations
  • Stable, long-term position in a multi-shift manufacturing environment

Key Duties of the Payroll / HR Administrator:

Payroll Processing & Compliance

  • Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare required reports
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour regulations
  • Generate and distribute W-2s and other tax documentation

Benefits & Employee Support

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for payroll, HR, and policy questions
  • Provide guidance and training on HR and payroll systems

Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Support

  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork and orientation processes
  • Support offboarding activities and conduct exit interviews
  • Assist with recruitment support, employee relations, and performance management
  • Support HR policies, procedures, and corporate HR projects as needed

Auditing & Continuous Accuracy

  • Conduct regular audits of payroll, benefits, and HR processes

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent HR/payroll experience)
  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of HR experience or PHR / SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS systems
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
  • In-depth understanding of wage & hour compliance
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
