Payroll Administrator Full Time Clerical Webster Groves, MO, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1286 Position Overview The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accurately processing and maintaining multi-state payroll for all Telle Tire & Auto Centers employees. This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws while providing excellent service to team members regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping. The Payroll Administrator will support ongoing integrations from new acquisitions, maintain data integrity within ADP Workforce Now, and assist with reporting, audits, and process improvements across the HR and Finance teams. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule for multiple states and entities. Review and verify employee timecards, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and other earnings. Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, including FLSA, garnishments, and state-specific requirements. Maintain employee payroll records, including tax information, direct deposits, and benefits deductions. Support payroll-related setup for new hires, terminations, and transfers, ensuring correct coding and documentation. Assist in integrating newly acquired locations into ADP Workforce Now, including employee data, earnings, and tax setup. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports post-processing for accuracy. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers promptly and professionally. Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings, W-2 verification, and other reporting as needed. Generate payroll and labor reports for HR, Finance, and Operations to support decision-making. Collaborate with HR and Benefits staff to ensure deductions and benefit changes are correctly applied. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes through automation and best practices. Qualifications 2–4 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location or multi-state environment. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) strongly preferred. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholding, garnishments, and wage-hour compliance. Working knowledge of benefits and payroll integration. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related reporting tools. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service orientation. High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Preferred Attributes Experience supporting acquisitions or business growth environments. Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial systems. Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong accountability. Desire to grow professionally within the HR and payroll function.
