ABOUT THIS ROLE Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator with solid Sage 300 experience (non-negotiable) and a passion for accuracy, compliance, and high-volume processing? A well-established organisation is looking for a detail-driven Payroll Administrator to manage the weekly wage payroll and monthly learner payroll , while supporting month-end and statutory processes. This role is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires someone who works well under pressure and maintains exceptional accuracy. If you’re reliable, organised, and confident handling complex payroll functions, this could be the right opportunity for you. WHAT YOU WILL DO Weekly Wage Payroll Full process weekly wage payroll using Sage 300 Review backbone files and verify timesheets from various sites Extract and reconcile hours from V-Time to Sage 300 Identify discrepancies, raise queries, and ensure accuracy Review and process leave types (FR, Study, IOD, Special, Other Leave) Maintain and update banking details Process new engagements, exits, job changes, and backpay Perform full reconciliations: payroll, hours, headcount, and net pay Print payslips and prepare weekly courier batches Assist with Netcash uploads Complete all weekly tasks within tight 3-day deadlines Weekly Payroll Reporting Extract GL files and produce wage variance reports Weekly sick leave & suspension reporting Maintain payroll filing and audit-ready documentation Prepare labour cost reallocations as required Monthly Payroll Fully maintain and process the monthly Learner payroll Conduct all headcount, leave capture, appointment, exit, and reporting tasks Support monthly payroll with queries, OT review, public holiday hours, and related checks Reporting & Reconciliations Prepare overtime, attendance, and reconciliation reports Maintain third-party files (MIBCO, Medical Aid, etc.) Assist with SARS statutory reconciliations Support Finance with balance sheet and third-party reconciliations Produce ad-hoc reports for HR and Management General Payroll Functions Ensure statutory and BCEA compliance Manage ESS (user creation & password resets) Handle UIF documentation, salary schedules, and DoEL requirements Provide employment confirmations and certificates of service Process IRP5s for all wage employees Assist with MIBCO annual increases, backpay, and provident fund claims WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Sage 300 payroll experience – Non-negotiable Matric + relevant certification (Payroll / Sage 300 advantageous) 3+ years Payroll experience in a similar high-volume environment Strong understanding of payroll compliance & BCEA Knowledge of MIBCO Main Agreement (advantageous) Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent communication skills High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and analytical ability Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Professional, dependable, and able to work independently If you are a committed, accurate, and experienced Payroll Administrator ready to take ownership of a demanding and impactful payroll function - APPLY NOW! #J-18808-Ljbffr
